1999 CLASSIC ROVER MINI SPORTSPACK

1999 classic rover mini sportspack

This Mini Sportspack was originally supplied by SMC Rover on 1st September 1999 and is presented in rare Anthracite over a cream leather-trimmed interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multipoint injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include 13” Sportspack alloy wheels, a bank of four Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, alloy interior trim, a burr walnut dash with subsidiary oil temperature and battery gauges, burr walnut door cappings and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials.

The Mini boasts 38,878 miles from new - a mere 1,200 miles since 2020 - and is a very original and well-maintained example. The paintwork has a deep lustre and the chrome is in excellent condition. The correct vented sills are present both sides and the glass and trim are in good order. The original factory ‘body’ number is present on the slam panel as well as the factory spot welds on the inner wings. The cabin is in very good condition and the original ‘Mini’ branded radio cassette remain in situ. There are no tears to the seats or headlining. 

The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT’d and also benefits from new Hi-Los, knuckle joints and engine steady bushes. Notably, the car has an impressive MOT history record showing no corrosion issues. Supplied with the Mini are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file including early MOT certificates and a stamped service book.
