Contact a car shipping provider of your choosing.
We repeatedly work with Autoshippers, who are the UK’s longest established privately owned car shipping company. If you require a quote, please visit their website.
If you require shipping to the USA, you will find the respective port-to-port shipping costs here. The prices in the chart are for Autoshippers’ Roll on Roll off (RoRo) shipping service, but they also provide containerised car shipping if preferred. Autoshippers are affiliated with Horizon Auto Shipping Inc, who can assist you with local formalities and provide inland delivery once the vehicle has cleared customs.
Vehicle collection and delivery to the nearest UK port (Southampton) will cost approximately £300, and this is something you can arrange via Autoshippers.
We require prospective buyers who are unable to view in person to arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection.
There are many providers available, including the AA, RAC and ClickMechanic. Most of our customers use ClickMechanic, who are inexpensive and are usually able to carry out the inspection the following day - this is not an endorsement and you are welcome to delegate whoever you wish.
Once your designated mechanic has completed the inspection, they will report back to you directly.
Once you are ready to proceed with the sale, we will issue you a contract of sale and invoice. Payment is required via bank transfer.
You now need to make necessary collection and shipping arrangements with your chosen shipping provider. You must contact and liaise with them directly.
We can store the vehicle for up to 28 days from the point of sale.
Once we have received payment in full, the vehicle’s documentation file will be sent to you separately via a tracked postal service. This includes the V5C registration document (you will need this to register the vehicle in your country), a signed invoice / confirmation of sale (your government’s vehicle registration agency might ask for this) and any associated service/MOT history, paperwork and spare keys.
Please notify us of your collection arrangements. We will require the name and contact details of your designated transport provider, as well as the date and approximate time of collection. Without your authorisation, we will not release the vehicle.

Alan MacDonaldI have just sold my 2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport to Phil Mires. During the process, I have been impressed with the professional attitude and genuine support received. I was very impressed by his knowledge and vision. First class methodology and extremely prompt payment make this endorsement easy to write. I wish him every success for the future.
Gemma PagePhil is a really genuine, honest, respectful and polite man to deal with. He was very flexible and made our transaction very smooth, even completing all the paperwork and kept me fully informed throughout. I would not hesitate to use the company again. Thank you Phil.
Karina TuriFrom start to finish Phil was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, professional and kind. I absolutely adore my new (but old!) Mini Cooper. She's a beauty! Would definitely recommend and if I'm in the market for a classic again, Phil Mires Classic Cars would be my first port of call.
