2000 classic rover mini cooper sportspack

This Mini Cooper Sportspack was first registered by Howards of Carmarthen on 7th March 2000 and is presented in Tahiti Blue with a white roof and body decals, over a Monaco beige and black leatherette interior. Features include Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, an RC40 stainless steel exhaust, 13” alloy wheels, chrome interior trim, a burr walnut dash and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission.

Initially, this example was owned by Rover dealer, Howards of Carmarthen, for the first six months, likely serving as a demonstration car, during which it covered 1,618 miles. It was then acquired by its first private owner on 15th August 2000. The Mini spent a period unused in storage from 2011 to 2021, and it has now covered 51,706 miles, with just 1,000 miles accrued over the past four years. 

The Tahiti Blue paintwork presents well and the chromework, glass and trim are all in excellent condition. Vented sills are present both sides and all four alloy wheels appear 'as new', shod with new tyres. Inside, the cabin is in lovely clean, condition, and the burr walnut dash has resisted the cracking and delamination that they so typically succumb to. The 1275cc multi-point injection engine is sprightly, pulling well through all four gears, and the RC40 exhaust produces a subtle yet satisfying raspy note that enhances the driving experience.

The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT’d until 11th March 2026 and is ready to be enjoyed. Supplied with the car is a history file dating back to the point of first registration including the original bill of sale and stamped service book.
