1997 classic rover mini 1.3i mpi

This 1997 Rover Mini is presented in British Racing Green and has been under the ownership of the same family since November 1997. Specification highlights include premium pepper-pot style alloy wheels, a Balmoral stone beige half-leather interior with colour-keyed green carpet, leather gear knob and steering wheel, burr walnut dash and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia faced dials. The odometer displays approximately 23,900 miles which is warranted through a comprehensive history file dating back to the point of first registration.

The Mini has always been garaged and is in wonderful, unmolested condition. The paintwork appears completely original with factory pin stripes either side and the supplying dealer’s sticker on the boot lid. The cabin is also in excellent condition. The front seats have had protective covers on for most of the car’s life, while the carpet and headlining both appear original and in fine order.

The Mini drives incredibly well and is ready to be enjoyed. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multipoint injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission (the same engine fitted to Coopers). The engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gear synchros are all in good order with no crunches on changes.

The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT’d. Notably, the car has a very impressive MOT history record showing no corrosion issues.
