1998 classic rover mini cooper 1.3i mpi

This Mini Cooper was originally supplied by Beadles of Eltham on 17th January 1998 and is presented in iconic British Racing Green with a white roof and body decals, over a ‘Monaco’ cream and black leatherette interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Specification highlights include fog lights, 12-inch Minilite alloy wheels, a leather bound steering wheel and a burr walnut dash with magnolia faced dials.

This Mini boasts 44,000 miles and one private owner from new, with full service history to warrant the mileage. The car was serviced by Beadles up until 2005 (18,881 miles), with subsequent services predominantly carried out my classic Mini specialists.

It is clear that the Mini has been very well maintained. The engine is strong and pulls impeccably, whilst the gear synchros are all in good order with no crunches on changes. The Mini has the correct vented sills both sides (no oversills) and all panels appear flush and straight. There is room for improvement on the paintwork as there are typical areas of bubbling, though the glass and trim are in very good order. Both the front and rear screens are original (chassis number etched within) and the supplying dealer sticker is still in situ on the front screen. The cabin is in spotlessly clean condition with the original ‘Mini Cooper’ branded mats present. The Minilite alloy wheels have been refurbished since the photographs were taken.

The Mini is sold recently serviced and MOT’d until and also benefits from a recent new subframe, RC40 exhaust, shim ball joints, tyres and front bake discs and pads. Supplied with the Mini are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file dating back to the point of first registration to include the original purchase handover document and a fully-stamped service book.
