This Mini Cooper Sportspack was first registered on 22nd February 1999 and is presented in Anthracite grey with a white roof and body decals, over a Monaco beige and black leatherette interior. Features include Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, 13” alloy wheels, chrome interior trim, a burr walnut dash and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission.

With just 24,539 miles on the clock, this Mini has been cherished by the same owner for the past 23 years. They loved this car, ensuring that it was always driven sensibly and dry stored when not in use. Since 2005, it has only accrued 1,000 miles and has been MOT'd almost every year despite very little use. Impressively, the Mini possesses a corrosion-free MOT history record with the last four tests passed without any advisories and every test since 2009 passed first-time.

Years of loving care and indoor storage have paid dividends in preserving this Mini as it presents very well. The paintwork has a lovely lustre with even finish and all body panels appear original. The chromework and trim are in excellent order, while the rubbers have retained their rich black colour. The original factory spot welds are present on the inner wings and the factory ‘body’ number is present on the slam panel. Additionally, the vehicle chassis number is correctly stamped into the scuttle panel and there are correct gaps in between the scuttle and tops of the wings.

Inside, the cabin is in fantastic shape, reflecting the low mileage. There are no tears in the seats, carpet or headlining - in fact, the rear seats appear virtually untouched! The burr walnut dash presents very well and the original 'Mini' branded radio cassette is in fine working order.

Elsewhere, the boot and engine bay are in commendable condition, and the undercarriage is highly impressive thanks to decades of dry storage. The 1275cc multi-point injection engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gear synchros are all in good order without any crunches upon changes.

The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT'd and is supplied with a comprehensive history file which includes the original book pack and stamped service book.

This Mini is currently being prepared for sale. Further information and photos of actual car to follow.

Phil is a really genuine, honest, respectful and polite man to deal with. He was very flexible and made our transaction very smooth, even completing all the paperwork and kept me fully informed throughout. I would not hesitate to use the company again. Thank you Phil.

Gemma Page

From start to finish Phil was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, professional and kind. I absolutely adore my new (but old!) Mini Cooper. She's a beauty! Would definitely recommend and if I'm in the market for a classic again, Phil Mires Classic Cars would be my first port of call.
