This Mini Cooper Sportspack was originally supplied by Clarks Motor Services of Bromsgrove on 8th March 1997 and is presented in Flame Red with a white roof and body decals, over a black leather-trimmed interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multipoint injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a bank of four Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, 13” alloy wheels, a stainless steel twin-exit exhaust, a burr walnut dash and door cappings, chrome interior trim and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials.

This particular example has a mileage of just 45,289 miles and has been owned by the same family for the past nineteen years. After five years of regular use, the Mini transitioned into classic status and has only covered an additional 6,000 miles since 2003, with recurring periods in storage. It is now being sold freshly serviced and MOT'd and is accompanied with a history file dating back to the point of first registration, including the original stamped service book.

The Mini is in impressive condition throughout and is ready for immediate enjoyment. The Flame Red paintwork presents really well and the chromework and trim are likewise in very good order. Body-colour vented sills are present both sides and the vehicle chassis number is correctly etched into the front and rear screens. All four alloy wheels appear 'as new' and are shod with new tyres. Inside, the cabin reflects the low mileage and is in excellent, clean condition. The headlining and burr walnut dash and door cappings have been renewed. The engine bay and boot are in good order and the undercarriage has been well-maintained. The 1275cc multi-point injection engine is sprightly, pulling well through all four gears without any crunches upon changes. The stainless steel twin-exist exhaust is subtle, yet produces a nice raspy note.
