1999 classic rover mini cooper sportspack (coming soon)
Supplied new by South Cleveland Rover on 6th February 1999, this Mini Cooper Sportspack is finished in striking Solar Red with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes, over a ‘Monaco’ beige and black leatherette interior. Power comes from a lively 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a bank of four Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, 13-inch alloy wheels, a stainless steel exhaust, a leather-bound steering wheel, alloy interior trim, a burr walnut dashboard and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials.
Having covered just 39,370 miles from new, this Mini has been in the hands of a car enthusiast for the last five years. During that time, it has only accrued around 1,000 miles, being kept safely sheltered indoors when not on the road.
Although first registered in Cleveland, the Mini relocated to Dorset after only a few months and has remained in the south of England ever since. During the years in which it covered much of its mileage, the car was predominantly maintained and serviced by the same garage, something well evidenced within the accompanying history file.
The Solar Red paintwork presents well, while the chromework, glass and trim are all in excellent condition. Body-colour vented sills are present both sides, and the chassis number is correctly stamped into the scuttle panel as well as etched into both the front and rear screens. All four alloy wheels appear in excellent order and are shod with tyres fitted approximately 500 miles ago. Inside, the cabin is clean, bright and inviting. The seats, carpet and headlining are all in very good condition, with the rear seats appearing barely used.
Accompanying the Mini are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file dating back to first registration, including a complete service book and complete MOT history record.
