However, not long after purchasing the car the owner stopped driving. Consequently, it has remained unused in a relative’s garage, resulting in remarkably low mileage and time-warp condition.
The car received servicing from the supplying dealer on 12th November 1993 at 324 miles, followed by an MOT on 23rd August 1996, recorded at 647 miles. Post this period, it was placed into storage and remained untouched for decades. Recently, the 106 has been recommissioned, serviced, and has successfully undergone its first MOT inspection for some twenty-eight years. Concurrently, the cambelt, water pump and fuel pump were replaced.
