1995 classic rover mini cooper 1.3i spi
This Rover Mini Cooper was first registered on 17th June 1995 and is presented in iconic British Racing Green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes, over a beige and black ‘Monaco’ interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc A-series injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Highlights include twin spot lamps, 12” Minilite alloy wheels, alloy cabin furnishings, a Moto Lita leather-bound steering wheel with engraved ‘John Cooper’ signature and a burr walnut dash with magnolia faced dials.
This example has covered 52,000 miles from new and has clearly been well cared for. It is a Mini that we are very familiar with as the car was sold by us to the latest owner in 2022 (it has only been driven approximately 1,000 miles since). The previous enthusiast owner acquired the Mini in September 2013. The car has a good MOT history record with no corrosion issues relating to the sills, subframes or underbody.
As result of years of careful storage, the Mini presents very well with only the odd blemish. The paintwork has a deep lustre and the body panels appear flush and straight. The trim is in excellent order and so too are the Minilite alloy wheels which are shod in recommended Yokohama A539 tyres. The original factory ‘body’ number is present on the slam panel and the correct vented sills are present both sides. The engine bay is in good condition and the undercarriage has been waxoyl protected. The cabin is fine order with no splits or tears to the seats or carpet. The Mini drives incredibly well and is ready to be enjoyed. The engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gear synchros are all in good order without any crunches upon changes.
The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT’d with no advisories. Accompanying the Mini are two sets of keys, owner’s handbooks and a comprehensive history file.
