This Mini Cooper was originally supplied by Whichford Rover, Basingstoke on 1st September 1995 and is presented in iconic British Racing Green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes, over a beige and black ‘Monaco’ interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc A-series injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Highlights include twin spot lamps, 12” Minilite alloy wheels, a Maniflow exhaust, an upgraded audio system, alloy cabin furnishings, a leather-bound ‘Cooper’ steering wheel and a burr walnut dash with magnolia faced dials.

The Mini has covered 62,998 miles from new and has been owned by an enthusiast for the past seven years. The car has clearly been well maintained and is ready to be enjoyed. The British Racing Green paintwork has even finish throughout and the body panels appear flush and straight. The original factory ‘body’ number is present on the slam panel and spot welds on the inner wings, whilst the vehicle chassis number is correctly etched into the front and rear screens. The correct vented sills are present both sides. The glass, chrome and trim are in very good condition. All four Minilite alloy wheels are newly refurbished and are shod in new tyres. The cabin is in excellent, clean condition and there are no tears to the seats, headlining or carpet. The undercarriage is in good condition having been waxoyl protected. The 1275cc injection engine is strong and very responsive, whilst the gearbox, with added quick-shift, is in good order with no crunches upon changes.

The Mini is MOT’d until 18th July 2025 (no advisories) and also benefits from recent new tyres, steering rack gaiters, ball joints and a Maniflow exhaust. Supplied with the Mini is a history file dating back to the point of first registration including the original stamped service book.

From start to finish Phil was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, professional and kind. I absolutely adore my new (but old!) Mini Cooper. She's a beauty! Would definitely recommend and if I'm in the market for a classic again, Phil Mires Classic Cars would be my first port of call.
