This Mini Cooper was first sold by Rover Approved garage Owen Kernahan on 16th April 1998 and is presented in anthracite with contrasting metallic grey roof and bonnet stripes. Notably, the Mini has had a conversion carried out by John Cooper Garages, thus increasing the power output from 62bhp to 85bhp. Distinguishing cosmetic features include an electric retractable roof, Rallye-style spot lamps, black leather seats embossed with Mini Cooper laurel, chrome interior trim and a burr walnut dash with magnolia faced dials.

The Mini has covered 107,000 warranted miles from new and is in splendid condition throughout having been carefully maintained and dry stored whenever not in use. According to the accompanying documentation, the car spent its first 8 years as a daily driver before retiring to life as a classic toy, with recurring periods spent in storage. This classic Mini a cracking runner and benefits from recent recommissioning completed to a high standard by classic Mini specialists, including new A-panels, new door skins, new rear subframe, new ball joints, new suspension arm bushes and a recent waxoyl service.
