1999 classic rover mini 1.3i mpi (coming soon)

First registered on 9th November 1999, this Rover Mini is presented in striking Solar Red, complemented by a contrasting stone beige ‘Balmoral’ interior trim. Power comes from a dependable 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include 12-inch alloy wheels, a tweed and leatherette interior, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, heater and ventilation controls, push-out rear windows, a burr walnut dashboard and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials.

This example currently displays just 31,561 miles and presents very well. It has been in the care of an enthusiast for the past eight years, during which time it was driven sparingly, well maintained and garage stored when not in use. The body panels appear straight and well aligned, with correct gaps between the scuttle and tops of the wings, while body-coloured vented sills are present on both sides. The chromework, glass and trim are all in excellent order, as are all four alloy wheels. 

Inside, the cabin is clean and inviting and reflects the car's low mileage. The seats, carpets and headlining are in excellent condition, free from visible tears or damage, while the leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob display a gentle, characterful patina. Elsewhere, the engine bay and boot compartment are both well presented. The car has benefited from recent restorative work, including the fitment of new outer sills, while the rear subframe has been powder coated for added protection and longevity.

On the road, this Mini is great fun to drive. Recently serviced, the 1275cc multi-point injection engine feels lively and responsive, pulling cleanly through all four gears with smooth, precise changes.
