2000 classic rover mini cooper sport (coming soon)

Supplied new by Hartwell Rover of Abingdon on 29th September 2000, this Mini Cooper Sport is presented in Solar Red with a Platinum Silver roof and body decals, over a black and Nickel Silver leather-trimmed interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include 13-inch Sportspack alloy wheels, a bank of four Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, a Maniflow exhaust system with LCB, a leather-bound steering wheel, alloy interior trim and an engine-turned effect dash with chrome bezel gauges and magnolia-faced dials.

This Mini has had just three owners and displays 65,178 miles from new. It has been enthusiast-owned for the past five years, during which it has spent recurring periods in dry storage. Frequently exhibited at shows, it clearly reflects careful use and consistent maintenance.

The paintwork presents very well, with panels appearing flush and straight, maintaining the correct gaps in between the scuttle panel and the tops of wings. Body-colour vented sills are present both sides and the inner wings display uniform spot welds. The original factory 'body' number is present on the bonnet slam panel and the vehicle chassis number is correctly stamped into the scuttle and it is also etched into the front and rear screens. 

Inside, the cabin is clean and inviting, exhibiting minor creasing on the driver's seat bolster and some charming wear on the leather steering wheel. The dashboard and binnacle cover remain in excellent condition, free from cracks or sun damage. A modern Sony head unit with Bluetooth and USB connectivity has been fitted. 

On the road, this Mini is tremendous fun. The 1275cc injection engine feels lively, pulling strongly through all four gears with smooth changes. The Maniflow exhaust is subtle yet produces a nice throaty tone that enhances the experience. 

The Mini is sold freshly serviced and MOT'd, accompanied by a history file dating back to the point of first registration, including the original stamped service book.
