Highlights from this year’s Brooklands New Year’s Day Classic Gathering - the perfect way to welcome 2026 and a tradition I always look forward to. Held annually at the historic Brooklands Museum, the event brings together an extraordinary mix of classic cars, enthusiasts and morning New Year excitement.

This year delivered one of the biggest and most impressive turnouts in recent memory. From pre-war icons to rare performance classics, the variety and quality on display truly showcased the depth of passion within the classic motoring community. There were plenty of classic Minis in attendance too! With the museum grounds filled to capacity, the passion for classic motoring was out in full force.

Brooklands continues to be a standout fixture on the classic car events calendar, and if this gathering is anything to go by, 2026 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for enthusiasts.
