The Rover Mini Seven: An Insight
The special edition Mini Seven was released in 2000 as part of Rover's swan song 'Classic' Mini range and had a production run of 374 units. They were only available in three exterior colours; Old English White, Solar Red and Black, each with 12" Pepperpot alloy wheels, 1960's style cream cloth and red leatherette seats and a colour coded dashboard. All Mini Sevens were fitted with a 1275cc multi-point injection A-series engine - as standard on all Mk7 Minis - producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission.
Our Rover Mini Seven for sale:
Our Rover Mini Seven was originally supplied by Priory of Nottingham on 24th May 2000 and is presented in stunning Solar Red over a luxurious cream cloth and red leatherette interior. The Mini has covered just 27,609 miles from new - a mere 600 miles since 2018 - and is a splendid, unmolested example.
The body panels appear flush and straight and the glass and trim are in excellent condition. The cabin is in wonderful, clean condition, as conducive with the low mileage. There are no tears to the seats, headlining or carpet and the original ‘Mini’ branded radio cassette and red mats are present. The 1275cc multi-point injection engine is strong and pulls impeccably and the gear synchros are all in good order with no crunches on changes.
The Mini is sold newly serviced and MOT’d and also benefits from a recent new RC40 exhaust and recommended Yokohama A539 tyres. Supplied with the Mini are two sets of keys and a comprehensive history file dating back to the point of first registration including a fully stamped service book.
