The Fiat Panda 100HP – An Insight
Over a decade has passed since Fiat ended production of the Panda 100HP, yet it remains the highest performance model of the ongoing Panda line-up. Under the bonnet resides a 1.4 litre 16-valve ‘Fire’ petrol engine tuned to develop 100PS through a six-speed manual transmission, specified to accelerate 0-60 in 9.5 seconds with a top speed of 115mph. These figures aren’t at all bad for a hatchback weighing just 980kg, but it’s the sharp and composed handling that makes the 100HP such an exciting and memorable car to drive.
Our Fiat Panda 100HP For Sale
This 2009 example, presented in desirable New Orleans Blue, is one of a small number specified with the ‘Pandamonium Pack’ factory option which adds silver side stripes and matching colour-coded wing mirror covers. Further specification highlights include 15-inch alloy wheels, bespoke body kit, tinted windows, bucket-style sports seats, climate control air conditioning and a ‘sport’ mode button which sharpens the throttle response and steering.
The Panda has covered 92,000 miles from new and is in splendid condition having been carefully maintained by its current and 4 previous owners. She boasts full service history, with 13 stamps in the service book, and is sold newly serviced and MOT’d by Fiat specialist Thorobred Cars in Laleham (who retailed and serviced the car back in 2014). The Panda also benefits from new front brake discs and pads, new front anti-roll bar link arms and new fog lights. The cambelt and waterpump were replaced in August 2014 (41,000 miles) and September 2019 (80,000 miles).
This hot-hatch is supplied with two sets of keys, owners handbooks and a history file dating back to the point of first registration.
